The place was very neat and tidy and the owners were very friendly and responsive to our enquiries. Directions to the homestay were also clearcut. It's also located near the train station.

南庄東村宿舍 is a charming and cozy place, conveniently located very close to the 老街 area. Although it offers futon-style bedding, it was by far the most comfortable stay I had during my entire long weekend trip in Taiwan—better than any hotel. The owner is extremely friendly, and parking is conveniently nearby. I would highly recommend staying at 南庄東村宿舍 if you're visiting Nanzhuang.

The exterior of the house just looks like a normal residential but the interior is nicely decorated. Very clean and cozy . There are many kinds of plants in & outside the house. I especially like the walkman which gives out a retro feel.
