Matthew and Michelle the owners really make this place. The lodge is lovely. Very clean and everything ties into the forest lodge theme. Beds in the dorm were very comfortable. Mathew also provided a shuttle service to the NP.for an additional fee which was most helpful. Walking distance to everything in town.

    A stunning cabin in the most beautiful, peaceful garden. We had the most wonderful time. Robert was a great host, our kids loved meeting and playing with George and the dogs!! We will definitely be back one day!

    Warm and welcoming hosts! Lovely grounds and clean rooms. The breakfast was quite tasty and served outside on the patio. The inn was a bit farther of a walk to village restaurants than I had realized, but not far and still easily doable. The inn has a separate bar, and if you're lucky, it will be a night when the locals come in to socialize and have fun!

    Very friendly welcome by staff, location easy to find. Pool table available to use. Kitchen facilities with free tea/coffee. Room was a great size with a huge double bed and bunk beds (the top bunk did squeak quite a lot, but it was doable) Restaurants literally down the road. Great pub sat with the locals...food amazing... Watched the rugby. Breakfast was lovely too.

    Loved waking up in the stunning garden and also the very warm welcome from the host. A good variety of restaurants a short walk away. The room was perfect for what we needed and loved the hiking areas around it. Great host!

    We loved our stay here! The host family was so kind and helpful to us. It felt like home. There is a big and beautiful garden and there is an opportunity to braai. Martin and Nadine were very helpful with our braai session and showed us everything. Thanks for that!!!
