Located in American River, The River Suites, Kangaroo Island provides accommodation with a pool with a view, a patio and sea views. The atmosphere at this property is created by the lovely owners! Dhea is so welcoming and lovely, she made me feel so safe although I was hitting a rough spot during my solo travel, so thank you for that! The food is amazing, if you like fresh seafood, you just need to try their menu! The rooms are new, quiet and have a lovely view.

Set in Pelican Lagoon in the Kangaroo Island region and Island Beach reachable within 1.2 km, Island Alive Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a private beach area... Everything was excellent, beautiful outdoor sitting area, the kitchen / common living area has a big window where you can watch kangaroos drink water, the rooms were comfortable. Saw a good amount of kangaroos passing through. Kitchen well stocked with kitchen supplies used for cooking. Keep the bird feeder full of water and the kangaroos will keep coming!!

Wedgetaildown is located in Parndana and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Property was in a great location, centrally located for everything we wanted to experience whilst on Kangaroo Island. The accommodation was spacious, stylishly furnished and spotlessly clean. Facilities and amenities were very thoughtfully considered - we wanted for nothing. We saw many kangaroos and echidna from the accommodation window - wildlife heaven! Would highly recommend and if we are fortunate enough to return to Kangaroo Island, we would 100% stay there again.
