Will and his family are warm, kind, affable people who made my stay a beautiful experience. They welcomed me into their exceptionally clean home and ensured I was happy and comfortable in my room. The room has a shared bathroom attached with individual doors which meant I did not have to leave my room to use it. Shower is very clean, spacious and powerful. Toilet smells lovely and very clean too.There is a fridge outside the room and use of the kitchen facilities. Will is very hospitable and knowledgeable of the things to do and see. He kindly pointed out the local market, places to visit, nice restaurants and bars in the location. I loved: Will's beautiful family and home, spotless home throughout, felt safe in the home and the area, perfect  location with huge market at the top of the road, gym around the corner, walking distance to everything including the cathedrals and large supermarket and about 20mins by Uber to get to the airport. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Bangalô Dunas er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Barreirinhas, 400 metra frá bryggjunni, en það státar af útisundlaug og útsýni yfir borgina. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 700 metra frá... Excellent place. The two lovely ladies keep it impeccably clean all day long. The breakfast is delicious. The place is only a few minutes walk from the port.

Great breakfast and excellent value, the best in our vacation in this area of Brazil, highly recommended and literally on the beach… if coming back to this area I would like to stay again in this place.

Extremely friendly staff, very local! Very good location. In Atins, even if the distances look short, you have to walk a lot due to the sand. So don't underestimate the importance of a good location like this one!

Oka Pousada Atins er staðsett í Atins og býður upp á garð og verönd. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 200 metra frá Atins-ströndinni. Gistihúsið er með fjölskylduherbergi. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, lovely people! Even though it is a walk to the center, the staff would support with calling a quadri to take us to the center or take us there themselves. Rooms were clean, nicely kept and spacious.

Quintal de Areias er staðsett í Santo Amaro á Maranhão-svæðinu og er með verönd. Þetta gistihús býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum og ókeypis WiFi. We liked everything about Quintal de Areias— the staff and owners are very welcoming and kind, the rooms are clean, the food is great, and it’s very close to the dunes of Lencois. I don’t think we could have chosen a better place to stay. The owner helped us book everything from the car ride from São Luis to the town, the tours of the dunes, etc. This made everything so much easier since we (unfortunately) don’t speak Portuguese and it would have been difficult to book those logistical things on our own.
