If I asked him anything, he responded quickly. I felt very safe there and at home. Everything is exceptionally clean and well cared for. Victor and his family live on the premises and there is a main door/gate to access the apartments/rooms. It is also very quite. The TV has many, many stations in English (and I suspect other languages besides Spanish) which was surprising and enjoyable. The in room refrigerator was useful. The large dispenser of bottled water was very helpful for refilling my water bottles. I also boiled water in the kitchen and bought it to my room in a thermos for tea. The bed was very comfortable with good cotton sheets and lots of blankets. There is also a heater and fans available if needed.

The place is magical, with spectacular views of the vineyards. Also at night you see the space lucidly, as I had never seen it before. The room was comfortable, clean and modern, as was the bathroom. Also the breakfast prepared by Gloria was delicious. If I come back to the area, I will definitely stay at Casa Ollagua!

Located in Vicuña, Hostal El Colibri offers accommodation with free WiFi in all common areas. This property features a terrace with garden views. Richard and his staff make you feel like family. I would not consider going anywhere else in Vicuña. Terrific room, breakfast and wonderful host! Really relaxing backyard and all the amenities you need. A perfect stay.
