We walked everywhere and had numerous restaurants to choose from within 5 minutes leisurely walk with a view of the ocean. We felt in total contact with the island while staying there. Got to enjoy the people and rhythm of life at our front door. Never felt crowded even in the height of the summer. The breakfasts were just right - simple and healthy with delicious fruit, vegetable, cheese and baked goods. Sonia and Francisco were wonderful hosts. They made excellent tour recommendations and oriented us to the island on our arrival and during the stay.

Located 100 metres from the main street and a 10-minute walk from Mataveri airport, Hostal Vaihere offers free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Hanga Roa. A garden is featured on site. Very friendly host that helped me with tours, dining and stuff around the island, you don't have to search for anything, he has got all the answers 👍

Kuhane Etno-Hostal se găsește în Hanga Roa, la 2,2 km de Playa Pea, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. The hostess and employee were so very kind and helpful. We were welcomed at the airport and hostel in style. We received a lot of useful information about the Island and its people. The breakfast was extensive and tasteful and the best we received compared to other regions in Chile. When we had to leave early the hostess made us a breakfast we could take with us. The location was a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre and situated near a single Moai. It was beautiful and for us ideal. It could have been a bit cleaner for my taste (I’m quite a nag with hygiene), but everything else was so great, that it didn’t detract from our stay. We had such a nice time and will definitely stay here again if we return to the Island.

Maria and Alvaro are very kind and openminded, loving people. Maria cooked a few times for me and the food was delicious. I took tours with Alvaro and enjoyed every minute of it. He is very knowledgeable and patient and thus makes sure you will get the most of your stay in Rapa Nui. The view from my room was great! It's literally like being at home but on a very far away island. I can definitely recommend 100%.

The location is a bit distance from center, but for walking is only about 15-20mins. Breakfast is simple but very good too! Room is spacious and clean! And remember to bring enough cash for the payment, extra 5% with card but it’s okay!

Everything was clean and well kept. Coordination for free shuttle to/from airport was easy and they were prompt. The welcome lei was a pleasant surprise. It’s not staffed with a reception desk but they are responsive when communicating via WhatsApp. WiFi was great for our needs. For us, the full kitchen was invaluable to save money with meals. Short walk into town.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Hostal Vieroto is set in Hanga Roa in the Easter Island Region, 400 metres away from the city centre. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The host was super friendly and helped me fix my quad bike and also gave me a ride for free to the AirPort. Also great location close to the statues that can be viewed without a guide.
