This is a lovely hotel with stunning rice terrace views, and a great location to explore the nearby rice terraces and ancient villages. I loved sitting on our terrace, sipping some tea and reading in the early morning and evenings. The rooms (including bathroom) are very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel restaurant is a good option for food whenever you need it. Jason, the property owner/manager has excellent English and was very responsive before and during our trip, and arranged the taxis we needed to arrive from Guilin station and then onwards to our hotel in Yangshuo. Highly recommended.

Unikátní penzion The Giggling Tree se nachází v malé vesnici Little Mountain Gate, pouhých 5 km od města Yangshuo. Nabízí tradiční farmy, krásné nádvoří a venkovní bazén. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Good bicycles to rent and trips/taxis can be organised. We'd love to return again one day - the scenery is simply unforgettable! Thank you Laura! We stayed in the Farm House, very authentic place, clean and ecofriendly. All the staff are very welcoming, warm and helpfull. You can directly enjoy the sunrise over the terraced fields, the sea of clouds, and the night view from the room! The boss is very enthusiastic and always answers questions. It's worth recommending

Fabulous postcard level view from the terrace and your bed. Huge bed with expensive sheets. Cheerful and helpful caretaker auntie. Lots of restaurants and shops in the nearby streets. Twenty minute riverside walk to the central area.
