The Best Adventure Hostel is a recently renovated guest house in San Gil, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This guest house also has a rooftop pool. Everything was just amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful (they booked bustickets and activities for us). The owner Darío is also really nice and on Friday we received a salsa lesson from his wife, which was a lot of fun! The pool is great for the hot days. The shower also gets really hot (you don’t know how much you miss hot showers until you don’t have them available anymore) and everything is spotless clean. The location is amazing as well, everything is around the corner.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Real Dream Hostel is a recently renovated guest house located in San Gil, 42 km from Chicamocha National Park. This was way beyond our expectations and we loved staying here. The family running the place is very nice and welcoming and always willing to help. The rooms are cosy and very well kept, spacious and maintained with very good standard. The location is right inside town, easy to walk around and closeby the neares bus station. The house has two twin cats absolutely adorable.

This family run hotel has lovely friendly and helpful Spanish speaking staff, clean, comfortable & spacious rooms, very functional, stylish and spacious common areas. Enjoyed the firepit. Especially loved cooking in the large shared kitchen that was well equipped. Easy to communicate with before arrival and during the stay when out with WhatsApp. Staff accommodated for and assisted in organising birthday celebrations. Location is 8 minutes from the main road so was very peaceful with great views across the hills and cool breezes.

It's in a great location, one block from the main square.
