One of my favourite stays in Costa Rica and all the more better because Janet was an awesome host.

The tranquil environment, coupled with the sounds of local wildlife, creates a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The place was very peaceful and overlooked the mountains. The hot water in the shower was another plus! My siblings and I were staying there during Easter and Arelys surprised us with a little Easter basket of goodies :') Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

The coffee tour was excellent, very informative. The staff were very warm and friendly and making sure we had everything we needed and knew how to get there the best route. The house was very comfortable, the one we had had 3 beds, one in a private room. It seems rustic but the bathroom is modern and the live edge table and counter are very en vogue. Amazing views from the 3 huge windows to see all around you including toucans in the morning.

Our little casita was absolutely adorable! We weren’t sure what to expect when we first arrived but as soon as we walked in the door our faces lit up. It was as very comfortable and simple. There is also an amazing pizza restaurant on the property. Pizzas were delicious. The breakfasts in the morning were a real bonus and the attention to detail was so sweet. It is close to attractions and down town. Highly recommend!

Děkujeme majiteli za absolutně skvělý servis, ochotu a pomoc při řešení výletu do parku, který nám jiná společnost zrušila. Zařídil vše pro nás během 5 minut po našem prvním příjezdu na ubytování. Prostorné, ale útulné kuchyňské a společenské prostory plně vybavené, pod střechou na terasách. Doporučujeme každému cestovateli. Pokoje se sociálním zař. prostorné a čisté.

Casa Aba Matapalo se nachází ve městě Matapalo, pouhých 100 metrů od pláže. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. Všechny pokoje mají plně vybavenou kuchyň s mikrovlnnou troubou a lednicí. Amazing location a minutes walk from a beautiful undeveloped beach in sleepy Matapalo. We had the most wonderful experience on arrival. Almost instantly we saw an Iguana on the roof of the neighbouring room. A capuchin monkey did too and chased the Iguana around the roof before the Iguana jumped off into a hedge! Going downstairs we then saw two slothes in the trees, before heading to the beach and seeing a troop of 50+ monkeys. Was our best nature experience in Costa Rica!! Lovely large room with good facilities too. Highly recommended
