And I was on my period those days, but I got the most satisfying sleep in the bed, it was soooooooo cozy and comfortable. I got totally refreshed after the night. I just love that room, and I definitely want to go back. And thank Eric for bringing me an extra bottle of water in the evening, so grateful for that!!!!

Host was incredible and nothing was too much to ask. The four poster room was incredibly cosy and the perfect setting for our Christmas break.

The property has an old world charm with new modern features. It is very clean and incredibly comfortable. There was a lovely tea/coffee station and decanter of sherry in our room. The absolute best parts were interacting with Ollie the manager who makes you feel like part of the family and the fantastic breakfasts (definitely try the porridge with whisky, honey, and cream). It’s a short walk to the heart of the old town but far enough removed to be quiet and peaceful. I will always try to stay here when back in Edinburgh.

It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Ashcroft Farmhouse se găsește în East Calder, la aproximativ 15 km de Podul Forth și la 16 km de Stadionul Murrayfield. The complete experience was amazing. It was sad that I couldn't meet Elizabeth due to personal issues, but her daughter was excellent, and they gave me a non-required compensation for the breakfast. I strongly recommend this lovely place to stay in their Scotland vacations.
