The place was incredibly artistic, with many small details that created a fantastic atmosphere. The staff was lovely, especially Sandra. She was exceptional, taking care of us every day with a warm smile and ensuring that our room and the entire property were spotless. Sandra assisted us with renting mopeds, doing laundry, grilling my freshly caught fish under the coconut trees as locals do, cutting fruits, and even offering a daily coconut treat. She was always there for us, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was really great to meet her! The beach is just a short walk through the palm trees, less than 100 meters away. We even had an ocean view from our bungalow, perfect for a morning swim in the crystal blue water. Right next to the beach is a resort open to the public. A one-kilometer beach walk will lead you to the boat guys who offer rides to the closest surf spot for 70.K IR per person. Alternatively, you can take your moped on a five-minute drive for daily surfing, which I recommend if you're planning to surf a lot. There is a supermarket nearby with ice-cold water and beers, and several restaurants close by. One standout is Warung Mbak Jawa, offering local food like nasi goreng for only $2. Further up, you'll find Fishbone, known for its high-quality bread, pizza, and burgers. It's a fantastic place, and I highly recommend staying here.

We planned to stay for two nights and ended up staying three weeks! Olens organised everything from ferry transfers, to scooter hire, to as many boat trips to the surf we needed. Nonchi’s food was unreal; a light breakfast, lots of vegetables, protein and variety at lunch and dinner.
