In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of Clifden town centre. The host was thoughtful and kind. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful.

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town. We liked absolutely everything about this wonderful guest house. Room was spacious, clean, equipped with bath products and area information……and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a five minute walk into town, so once you park your car for the evening, there’s no need to move it again. Breakfast is a variety of cold and hot with fantastic homemade breads to boot. Warm and welcoming hosts……what more could you ask for.

Pier view house has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Ballyconneely, 11 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial. Bridie was a very nice host. She welcome us very well and give us good tips for the restaurant closed by. The room was really cleen, with good equipment and big space. We even get a personal bathroom (reservation was for a shared bathroom). The only thing that could be better was the bathroom flush (very weak) but it seems that it often occurs in Ireland. Many thanks we will keep very good memories of this night

The beautiful Cloonan House is tastefully furnished with a cosy atmosphere. An ideal place for reading and writing. In the morning I woke up by the sound of waves lapping the shore. When the sun was high in the sky, I had a run along The Sky Road while marvelling at the beauty of the Atlantic Sea and the spectacular mountains. Catriona was thoughtful and attentive. She made sure that I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay in her house. A very lovely hostess.
