The host's husband, who was filling in while she attended to family matters, was very friendly and even gave us a tour of his hurling stick manufacturing and shop. It's a gated yard, so it felt very secure, and the breakfast area had everything you needed for a little snack or a good start to the day!

On the West bank of the River Shannon, Shannonside House is set within large, private gardens. Guests can enjoy home cooking and free parking, and Athlone's centre is a 5-minute walk away. This was the most beautiful B and B we have stayed at ever. The service was fabulous and very pleasant. The house was immaculate and clean .

Hardwood Hall or Kiltubber House อยู่ในคินนีกาด ห่างจากโรงละคร Mullingar Arts Centre 20 กม. I only stayed one night at Hardwood Hall, but it was such a lovely experience. The bed was incredibly comfy – perfect after a long day of travel. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast that really hit the spot. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, genuinely eager to help with anything I needed. Even in just one night, the hospitality stood out. I’d happily come back for a longer stay next time!
