This was truly exceptional. Excellent location in allepey - peaceful, right next to a canal in the front and garden and rice fields in the back. New spotless house. The room had quality insect protection. There was a balcony with comfortable armchairs. The owners were so nice! And the food! Very good breakfast and absolutely delicious kerala dinner. Many different little dishes beautifully presented. The lady of the house could easily run a high class restaurant!

Beautiful singing from the local church on Sunday mornings. Unlike the centre, you can see and hear a lot of birds. The hosts are brilliant, communicating well and quickly on WhatsApp. They arranged to have our washing done, they even negotiated a lower price for us.

Every morning I had a delicious homecooked Keralan breakfast and she gave me lots of great recommendations for what to do in the area! It was lovely to get to know Sheetal and her daughter is so sweet too. Couldn’t recommend enough.
