They live in the same house, so it's more a private room than a bnb. They provide coffee/tea/cocoa, a fridge for your use as well as an airport shuttle for early flight departures. Can recommend! :)

Offering free WiFi, parking on-site and a garden, the recently renovated property of Sól - S12 Guesthouse, offers accommodation in Keflavík, 20 km from Blue Lagoon and 45 km from The Pearl. As a solo traveler, having positive interactions with hosts feels important. The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Keflavik Micro Suites, a property with a garden, is located in Keflavík, 43 km from Blue Lagoon, 45 km from The Pearl, as well as 47 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church. Probably the best value for money for the whole trip. Facilities are great, beds are good, it is quite central in Keflavik and close to the airport with lots of parking lots available. We also got complementary breakfast in the fridge left for us.

The family-run Blue Viking Studios is next to Keflavík Harbour and 3 km from Keflavík International Airport. Free WiFi and parking. The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is within 20 minutes’ drive. The current service was outstanding. My flight was delayed and they let me check in early and picked me up from the airport

Located in Keflavík and only 43 km from Blue Lagoon, KEFBED Town Center provides accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. The owners were super welcoming, when I arrived in Keflavik the weather was really bad and the owner came to meet us at the bus stop to give us a ride! Little and a bit old room but comfy with everything! Great value near the airport, perfect for a stopover and see a bit of Iceland!
