Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. If I had known about them prior, I would have made different accommodations for most of the time in Bocas del Toro and stay with them. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent hosts. Our room had a comfortable bed, bath and outside patio with kitchen accessories and a small refrigerator means you can stay here for a number of days very comfortably. A sea level concrete deck outside offers guests sunbathing and access to the water for wading and swimming. A few steps away a covered patio stands along the coast line adjacent to the kitchen area where Breakfast and dinner can be served. The food prepared is very good-excellent! Prices good! I would return here in the future.

Ely is super helpful and nice, the property is in the middle of the island so gives you privacy and is very quiet and good for relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need, I just cooked my breakfast there but pretty sure you can cook your daily 3-5 meals. The terrace space is beautiful for reading, chill and to see the new year fireworks :)

It was very clean and the hostel terrace direct at the sea was amazing. Best way to see the sunset and the stars. You can book the tours (for example the zapatillo tour) directly at the hostel.
