Located within 20 km of Miramare Castle and 23 km of Trieste Train Station in Komen, Gostilna in pizzeria Pri Brajdi provides accommodation with seating area. The room was spacious and clean. Great shower with plenty of hot water, good pressure, and very comfortable bed. Due to the May Day holiday the kitchen was not open. There is another pizza restaurant down the street that was open so we were able to get dinner and drinks. It was a bit disappointing that we were unable to take advantage of the amenities of the property. We travel by bicycle and were disappointed to not be able to get any food at the local grocery store either due to it being closed. I would recommend this property.

Ok, the weather played a bit tricks on us the first day. But even it redeemed itself with a beautiful rainbow at the end of the day. So, when you have a group of friends or family, all of them having time (which can be the most difficult part these days) and you want to spoil them (and yourself), book a stay. Reserve a table for dinner. And then - enjoy.

Cleanliness, nice and tasty breakfast, the host was great and helpful. Location was perfect for us, we were around 20-30 minutes from all the places we wanted to see. Lots of parking space.

Offering a garden and garden view, Krasen Kras Apartment is situated in Komen, 17 km from Miramare Castle and 20 km from Trieste Train Station. We stayed in the apartment with two rooms. The self check in was operated through a key box at the house entrance and the code is given during the arrival day, which is comfortable in terms of arriving time, but we didn't meet the owner at all. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. Bed linen and towels are provided. In the kitchen there were also oil, salt, pepper and soap for dishes. There is the oven which is useful to cook. In the bathroom there was body shower gel. There is a washing machine, but we didn't use it, so no review about it. The private garden is down the stair, near the parking spot and is furnished with barbecue area and a table. The house is very quite and we had no problem because of noise from the outside. Air conditioning is available too. The single room is little, but comfy. An advice for the one sleeping in the single room is to close the bathroom's door to avoid it's little noise and the entrance of light. The double room is very spacious and silent. We didn't use the sofa bed in the living room because we were three. I would recommend it.
