"We stayed for two nights and had a great rest. The place was very clean, and Tim is a great person—very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our stay.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location many birds, mammals and cassowaries walking by. You are undisturbed to enjoy the stay. Understand there is no phone or internet reception other than at reception area about 300-400 mtrs away

Ok, it is not the cheapest, however you will immensly enjoy the experience of waking-up in a mini-rainforest environment. Every night our friendly possum paid us a visit, with wallabies, cassuaries, water turtles and birds around us. The house is fully equiped and provides a comfortable home away from home. The caretakers / managers Dan and Nature are fantastic and provide all the tips and knowledge of the environment you need. If on the Tablelands, go here and experience this rainforest retreat
