We stayed for a night at Loch Ness Bunk Inn with our family and had a great experience. Although we don’t usually stay in hostels as a family, this was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the check-in process was quick and easy. There's parking available, which is a big plus. The location is lovely, with a nice sitting area by a little stream where we could relax with the kids. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Loved the cleaning and how the stuff made me feel comfortable. Other travellers were nice and respectful. The lounge area was really nice and the kitchen Was always clean and tidy. Loved the indoor terrace bit and the amazing backyard. The location was perfect, very central and next to a quite nice pub. Will definitely be back!

The facility is a short talk away fromt the town. It has facility for bicycle storage which can be full, it is advisable to request ahead. The lodge is mainly configured as share room, but it may be booked as private room with bathroom probably due to low season. The staff is friendly and explain everything clearly. There is commual kitchen, laundry and even a bar.

The ease of checking in even though it was after hours that a receptionist was on shift was perfect. The key card worked....the shower was really hot, which I like...I found myself stuck in Inverness for the night due to travel mishaps and I was lucky enough to find a bed in this hostel for a very affordable price...the bunk bed was so clean and comfortable....thank you for a perfect sleep and shower

The atmosphere was lively and cozy, with a lot of interesting people to talk to. The free warm drinks were nice! The bunkbeds were cozy and sturdy. The facilities were clean and decorated with fun little reminders to wash your hands and turn of the light and so on. The decoration of the general area was also very tasteful and nice.

Great location. Free and safe parking. Old World comfort - looks fantastic. Reception greeting was excellent; explaining everything we needed to know. Staff were lovely. Both rooms were good - clean, warm (with additional heater). Food at the restaurant was very tasy and the range of whisky was a delight. Prices were not too high. Breakfast the next morning - buffet, with a good range of well-cooked food to compliment the cerals and fruits and yoghourts.

Very well located. The little cabin for family is really cosy, with private bathroom. We had a tv in the cabin, free wifi and even a safe. Prior to coming to the hostel, we received all instructions how to access and get the key for self checkin and checkout Large kitchen space and very clean too.

Stayed 2 nights, the staff was fantastic and very helpful. I was surprised with the kitchen, big and fully equipped, certainly a bonus. Great location with great walks opportunities. And most importantly very nicely stocked up bar ;) There was also nice little outside space to enjoy fresh scottish air. Never waited for a bathroom or to use any of the facilities. Not going to comment on comforts of the sleep as it is a hostel. The bed itself was comfortable and the sheets clean and fresh and that's what I expected.

Lovely, comfy hostel, friendly and helpful reception. Clean, comfy beds. Great lounge and seating areas, plus lovely clean kitchen. Well-stacked bar with Ness beers and a range of whiskies. Great location right off the Great Glen trail and a short walk from the Co-op. Vying for best hostel on this trip!!!! Would go back and highly recommend.

A "classical" backpackers hostel, nice crowd, has its own charisma, otherwise - good value for money

Warm and comfortable. Double bed super comfy. The bunk beds were a bit hard but probably more suitable for kids 😂 Great location - short walk to supermarket and the Loch Ness Inn for dinner. Communication from owner was excellent.

Cheap and cheerful. Bit of a cross between a motel and a backpackers. But does the job nicely and it's cheap for the area. But I did have an en suite shower room.

Cosy backpackers' hostel, sparse but nice. Perfect stay if you're on a budget. Really nice beers on tap, do request the Scottish recommendations.
