I am glad to have found this gem of a family run hostel. I was attracted by the price but it was such a comfortable stay. I deal really. Didn’t expect a breakfast but bread butter, jam, marmalade, tea and coffee provided.

This hostel did not offer breakfast, but there was coffee and tea. The owner/manager was very helpful, and the location - next to a great pub, with a sea view, and just a short walk to the ferry pier was ideal.

Hosts are friendly and I felt safe there staying solo. Shared dorm was good given the price. Plenty of parking and at a good location for going between Galway city and deeper into Connemara.

We loved the location, 5 minute walk to a stunning beach with a great safe swim spot. The house has everything you will need including a turf fire for chilly evenings. Beautiful ocean views and a resident Donkey in the neighbouring field. This was our 2nd time to stay here, love it !
