A hidden gem for those who want to explore Cinque Terre without staying in the middle of the crowds. It’s a great place if you enjoy hiking and want some peace and quiet after a day of adventure. The hostel itself is cozy and welcoming, with comfortable beds and clean sheets/blankets. The shared spaces and the (beer) garden are charming and social, perfect for relaxing with fellow travelers. And then there’s Gloria, just down the street at the tabacco shop. She’s a local legend — incredibly helpful and full of tips about the area and hiking trails. You can also buy bus tickets, trail passes for the Cinque Terre hikes, and enjoy some of the best cappuccinos, croissants, and focaccia around. Highly recommended for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone who wants to experience the real Liguria in a more relaxed way.

Please if you’re every in La Spezia book this place! The staff are excellent! Shout out to Gabriele for making me feel so welcomed! It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the station! The rooms are clean, nice and the same for the bathrooms and you can are also able to only lock the shower so if need be someone can use the bathroom which is smart! They do a €1 Aperitivo every night also other fun pizza nights or pasta nights for only a few euros which I find amazing! I’d really recommend this place if you come to La Soezia! ☺️

The hostel is amazing. I arrived early and could instantly check in and leave my bags to explore cinque terre. It’s a short 3 min walk to the beach and the town is beautiful and way less crowded than any other cinque Terre town. The beds were comfortable too and I had a good nights sleep.

A bit down the street, from the stay, was a small store with cheap and tasty breakfast. The owner of the store, Gloria, is super friendly and helped us a lot with travel tips and transportation around Cinque Terre. The stay was clean and had everything you needed. Parking right in front of the step.
