Really cute traditional Japanese house, 6 mins walk from the nearest station and 15 mins away from Hasedera. Room was super clean with modern facilities, despite quite antique vibes. The host was super friendly, there is the option to do a full Japanese breakfast and dessert making course for very affordable fees. We went as a big group and really enjoy our stay :)

The dorm beds were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. They had a nice setup inside to charge and keep your stuff or hang clothes. The sofa area outside the beds was also quite spacious to just sit and chill. It was smack in the middle of Chinatown and about a 5-10m walk from two stations. From Motomachi stations you can get direct trains to Shibuya, Ikebukuro areas on the Minatomirai+Tokyu+Fukutoshin line. Very convenient to reach places in Tokyo without a transfer.

The owner was nice and helped us check in remotely when we ran into some issues that led to us arriving late after check in time and gave me some coconut biscuits the next morning when we spoke in person for the first time :) I found the beds comfortable, everything was clean and the accommodation served my needs as an out-and-about tourist well. I was happy to stay here and would recommend it to people doing the same kind of tourism as I did (out most of the day, back to sleep, rest and maybe have a snack). It's located in Yokohama's Chinatown so it was great to get food earlier in the morning before it started getting busier. It's also just a very fun area to wander around when it's busy. It was a short walk to the metro to get to other areas too so it worked very well for me and my travel companion.

The capsule hotel is in a great location, on a high street with plenty of fancy shops. There is a subway station a couple of minutes walk away, as well as a big super-grocery store and plenty of places to get food. The two men who run the place were incredibly helpful and friendly. I asked if the hotel had a luggage scale, and one of them offered to bring his personal one from home--very kind and appreciated!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Incredible value for money. Great location between the beach and the main busy shopping street. We were a little nervous about this accommodation because it's been a while since we stayed in a hostel but it feels more like a budget hotel. Exceeded our expectations.

The hostel was amazing. Love the spacious bathroom and the room itself is perfect for one person. The hostel's location is convenient and safe for a solo female traveller. I also got breakfast there which was also delightful. There were three to four options to choose from and they were all delicious and very filling for the start of the day.

Really loved the beds and facilities out of 4 hostels I've stayed during my trip to Japan this round. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the station with a supermarket on the way. The staff were kind to lend an umbrella when requested. The bed size was really comfy, with lots of space to put some bags at the edge of the bed for a 163 cm tall person. The bunk bed structure was really sturdy and gave the privacy needed between beds as well. 10/10 will come back if I ever visit Kamakura again.

Bushi-san is a really nice host, super friendly and very interesting. It is a small house, only 3 rooms, so you can really interact with the other guests and Bushi-san. The hostel is well located at walking distance from the train station and all the touristy place around. The room with bunk bed was more confortable than we would have expect, and it was very quiet at night so we had a good rest. The Japanese breakfast was really really good. We loved it here :)

Great friendly stuff. They advised me wonderful beach in the area, it was super helpful. Also, proper bed cover, not sandwich sheets, like in most cheap hostels. This is an advantage.
