To me personally for the price it was very fair and a very good deal. The person running the place Irene was a fantastic host even got us a new night light as purs we broken. Very friendly and convenient spot to stay in if you are looking to go see Kek Lok Si, Penang Hill as the temple is just behind the stay and is very near to a bus stop which takes you into town.

Safe, quiet and clean in a charming, old Penang villa with a small kitchen, comfortable sitting areas and a front porch with many plants in the center of Penang. It is my forth visit to Penang, and I always stay here. The owner is very kind and accommodating. The guests are lovely and considerate of each other. As only girls stay here, it is very comfortable and relaxing.

Easy check in, fast communication via WhatsApp (also a guide to Penang sent which was nice), water filter provided in common area, decent sized room, some basic amenities provide. There is a common area some kitchen facilities but not social. Best part of this accomodation is the location which is in the heart of Penang - you can explore the old town by foot easily.

This was by far one of the best hostels I have stayed at! It is comfortable, the ‘pod’ has everything you need, from hooks, lights and a little ‘table’ you can pull from the wall. The accommodation itself has literally everything you need from clothing steamer, to hairdryers, washing machine, clothing line etc. They even have a room were you can get dressed that is fully mirrored, super handy! Everyone has their own locker, that opens with your keycard. The manager who is their daily is a wonderful sweet woman, who makes it feel very homy! There is a lounge/waiting area, that has a couple kitchen facilities. The place is one of the cleanest I’ve been to!

Although it's self check-in, the staff via message are very friendly and helpful. I was already staying in town at another place and they let me check-in early which was great. Room is fairly basic but considering the price has what you need.
