Nice location with quite number of shops and restaurants, walking distance to the town centre. Excellent a/c and hot water available. Nice staff and breakfast as well. The place was clean as well!

I had a wonderful stay at Good Day Backpacker. The owners are absolutely lovely, and so are their daughters. I was offered some delicious tea several times, which I really appreciated. My room was simple but had everything I needed. It was located upstairs, with access to a shared balcony that had a table, perfect for working online while being surrounded by nature. It was peaceful and quiet, just the way I like it. The location is also ideal: only a 15-minute walk from Lakeside, but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. It was just perfect for me. The owners are also working on opening a café, so soon you’ll be able to enjoy breakfast and coffee there — such a great idea! :)

I ended up coming back twice! It is one of the best places I've stayed in Nepal and the quality you get for the price you pay is above the average. I've stayed in a private budget single room, which are spacious and clean, also the common areas are good. There's also a restaurant downstairs, and a laundry service. The wifi also is good, especially in the new building (in the older building sometimes the signal is not so strong).
