Set in Klagenfurt, 700 metres from Welzenegg Castle, Mladinski dom - Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I got a twin room with two beds although I booked a single room. They allowed me to check in a couple of hours early which was super helpful! They also has a basketball gym and a small gym for use! Breakfast was open a buffet which made it definitely worth it!

I had a bike race in Velden on the day of check-out and the personel let me leave around 5 pm, because they knew I would appreciate the shower. Good breakfast, very friendly staff.

Excellent value and for the price paid I couldn’t ask for better place to stay. Ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly, good breakfast included, the room was comfortable, clean and close to the center of Villach and the Italian border. I used this place as a stopover on my way south to Italy but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to do some local exploration as there is so much to see and do in the vicinity of Villach. Highly recommended.
