Dalhousie University is located in the city centre of Halifax. The simply furnished accommodation features free WiFi access throughout. Each room at Dalhousie University offers a desk and wardrobe. My room and the all gender washrooms are very clean. They also have toiletries available to buy at the counter if you didn’t bring some. Toilet paper and paper towels never run out. Good water pressure. Overall good place to stay for a few days if you’re transiting.

Set 7.1 km from Casino Nova Scotia Halifax, Mount Saint Vincent University offers 2-star accommodation in Halifax and has a fitness centre, a garden and a shared lounge. As mentioned in my previous review, check-in was a breeze, although it did take me a fair bit of figuring out as to where on the campus the accommodation was located during our (my family included) first one-night stay on campus. Had to ask around to finally locate the building. On the return stay after our road trip, of course it was much easier. On the whole, the rooms were spacious enough. Sufficient utensils to assist in cooking up a meal to feed several rather hungry tummies! Location was good too.
