Very nice and climaic place. Not far from the center but public transport is very good, Additional benefit you get the Basel card which give you free public transportation during your stay. Room was clean, very convinient and quiet. Quite nice breakfast.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast/lunch/dinner service were excellent.

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. The location is wonderful, really close to the train station. I was in a private room, It was bigger than I expected.

Nastanitev Basel Backpack se nahaja v obnovljeni zgodovinski tovarni, le 10 min od glavne železniške postaje Basel. V ceno je vključena vozovnica Basel Mobility Ticket za brezplačen javni prevoz. Vse je bilo OK. Zaprosili smo za prijavo pred 16. uro in so nama ugodili. Zajtrk je bil vredu in dovolj vsega. Če bi se še nekrat določali za hotel v Baslu, bi se odločila za ta isti hotel.

This is the perfect place if you are staying for a few days, and are out and about during the day and evening. Big room, high ceilings, very clean, good mattress and pillows, and linen. There is a new kitchen with all the amenities, even a coffee machine! New bathroom with shower, cleaned every day. Within easy walk of the main train station and trams/bus.
