Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Pretty much the ideal hostel experience. The rooms were nice, with comfortable mattresses, made bedding, and a sink and mirror in the room. A European and a Swiss style outlet at the bed, a good shelf, and an adjustable reading light. Tons of very nice common spaces, including a well-equipped and huge kitchen area. Breakfast was simple (bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and juice) but high quality including locally baked fresh bread. The shower rooms were large and had lots of hooks and dry space to put your things. The staff were friendly and accommodating and everything was always clean. The building itself is cool too.

Best holiday ever. Even though we knew about all the positive online comments about Johnny, the owner, he exceeded all expectations by enriching our holiday with great ideas for trips, his local connections, and even a (basically) private sailing trip near the beautiful Interlaken on a gorgeous restored wooden sailing yacht which he organizes frequently.

Boasting a bar and views of mountain, Schutzenbach Backpackers For Adults 18-34 is situated in Lauterbrunnen, 16 km from Grindelwald Terminal. I spend 3 nights in the Hostel and had amazings and completely different evenings each day, i got one bed in the shared room and it was full booked but everyone was respectful and tried their best to be quiet in the early morning and past midnight as well! The vibes are immaculate, all the staff is super kind and helpful. The hole idea of the hostel is to have a break, to share a good time and to know people while you are adventuring, exploring, learning. I think that’s why most of us left so happy and in peace at the same time. The beds are comfortable, they’ll provide a towel and a locker and there’re enough plugs for everyone. The kitchen has microwaves, water heater and two fridges to store your food and the supermarket is close, like a 10 min walk or two stops if you use the bus, which is right next to the reception. I’m so glad i choose this Hostel and hope i’ll come back

Set in Hondrich, 36 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Syril's Mountain Paradise offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Not a single point less for any criteria- facilities, location, view, host and what not - an exceptional stay. This was our first stay in Switzerland on a short trip. Was taken by surprise with the stay. With luggage, walking into the place is a bit tedious, but no complaints. First- the stunning view, then the location and accessibility by public transport, stay, rock climbing wall for kids, hanging bridge, and even Syril- was an exceptional host. Lots of items from the kitchen cupboard were shared and was a blessing for us during the stay. I booked this place by luck, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a star property soon.

El Walters Hostel Interlaken està situat a Interlaken, a 1,3 km del port d'Interlaken Est, i disposa de saló compartit, aparcament privat gratuït, jardí i zona de barbacoa. the host is very friendly, the room is hugeee and the breakfast spread is totally worth the money. It was big portion for us, we ended up bring the leftover for lunch during the day.

The breakfast was incredible and the room where I stayed was comfy as well. The place is located nearby the train station which was great and the neighborhood was very quiet.

A cozy hostel a couple of km from the center - you get a free ticket for buses though that stop basically in front of the building. Shared kitchen, bathrooms and toilets were super clean. Good, basic breakfast. Friendly staff.
