This family-friendly hostel offers a wide range of leisure facilities, free parking and modern rooms with safety deposit boxes. It is a 10-minute walk from Lake Constance and Lindau Island. Beautiful building, lots of attractive communal space to use and relax in. The room was basic as you'd expect with a youth hostel, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and I can highly recommend paying for the evening meal too. Loads of choice, lots of fresh and healthy food, good choice for vegetarians. Really good value.Great location for train station ( we were backpacking) - handy for local supermarket to buy picnic food - only a 15 min walk onto beautiful Lindau Island.

Great food options, for what was a beach front swimming and camping spot. Nice vibe. Very local feel, lots of kids. Lake was lovely. Had a wonderful foot massage, better than I imagined, as a first time.
