Hostal velero relax is situated on the beachfront in Santa Marta, a few steps from Guachaca Beach and 42 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. This was an absolute surprise and perfect from start to finish. The family hosting this place is so loving and the place and the location just breathtaking! I started by reserving a room and then ended up sleeping on the last floor on just a mattress - so basic but the nature there is just incredible. steady waves and a bit of wind make it the perfect ambiance to sleep outside. No noise at all for cars as the place is located directly in front of the beach. I highly recommend you go there !

The hostel is in a quiet location, a few minutes from the buses for Tayrona and Minca, as well as the airport. I was able to store my luggage for several days. If you book the trek to the lost city through the hostel, you get the connecting night for free! Good breakfast included. Highly recommended!
