It's a simple and friendly place, surrounded by magical, fairy-tale-like nature. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy stay close to nature!

Alte Schule asub Bad Schandaus, 46 km kaugusel Panometer Dresdenist ja 49 km kaugusel Dresdeni pearaudteejaamast. The breakfast was amazing, inexpensive, and a great way to socialize with other travelers. Robin was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make sure the experience was a good one. Great for solo travelers, near hiking trails. Bathrooms were always clean, and the rooms were big and beds were comfortable. Literally 30-second walk to the beginning of hiking trails. Schmilka is a ferry and train ride from Bad Schandau, but it's very manageable.

Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja grillimisvahendid. the location, facilities were all absolutely fantastic! the view over the mountains was amazing and even though we were late due to being lost on the hike Andre was there to meet us and show us around. we missed dinner but we’re able to buy food at reception to cook with.

The staff were super nice and I had a pleasant stay. The room and food were great, with amazing views and history! Felt quite spooky being the only one staying in the castle, thankfully saw no ghosts!
