Robin was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make sure the experience was a good one. Great for solo travelers, near hiking trails. Bathrooms were always clean, and the rooms were big and beds were comfortable. Literally 30-second walk to the beginning of hiking trails. Schmilka is a ferry and train ride from Bad Schandau, but it's very manageable.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Herberge Burg Hohnstein is set in Hohnstein in the Saxony Region, 27 km from Dresden. There is a restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. The staff were super nice and I had a pleasant stay. The room and food were great, with amazing views and history! Felt quite spooky being the only one staying in the castle, thankfully saw no ghosts!
