I had a wonderful stay at the hostel in Kurort Rathen. It's a simple and friendly place, surrounded by magical, fairy-tale-like nature. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy stay close to nature!

Alte Schule er staðsett í Bad Schandau, 46 km frá Panometer Dresden og 49 km frá aðallestarstöðinni í Dresden. The breakfast was amazing, inexpensive, and a great way to socialize with other travelers. Robin was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make sure the experience was a good one. Great for solo travelers, near hiking trails. Bathrooms were always clean, and the rooms were big and beds were comfortable. Literally 30-second walk to the beginning of hiking trails. Schmilka is a ferry and train ride from Bad Schandau, but it's very manageable.
