Doroka is the best hotel in the Nubian village: beautiful, authentic, quiet and welcoming. The room is great: amazing view on the Nile, nice balcony, good AC, comfortable bed and beautiful decoration. And the staff is the best! Everyone is so kind, welcoming, helpful and positive. The food is also really good! Ahmed, the hotel manager, helped me to navigate Aswan activities and options. He organized private tours for me at a very fair price and gave me some good pieces of advice so that I don't get scammed. He is a very reliable, helpful and friendly manager. I loved my stay at Doroka Nubian house and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to relax in a beautiful environment while visiting the main attractions of Aswan.

We wanted a place close to the center but not on one of the islands, as the ferry/shuttle situation can get tricky depending on the time of day. That’s how we found this accommodation, and it was perfect! Even from the booking photos, I was drawn to its cute and thoughtful design—and I can confirm it looks just as lovely in real life. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a welcoming vibe. The location is fantastic, nestled in a Nubian village with friendly neighbors where we always felt safe. It’s an easy walk to the public ferry for Elephantine Island, just five minutes from Carrefour, and super convenient for catching a public minibus (only 5 EGP!), tuk-tuk, or taxi. Best of all, it’s right next to the Nile—just a few steps away—where you can take a refreshing dip on hot days or enjoy stunning sunsets with feluccas sailing by. The real highlight, though, was the owner, Nia. She was incredibly helpful, always available to answer our many questions—how to get around, which ferry or bus to take, where to find the nearest shop, and even how to travel to other cities. Honestly, we would have been completely lost without her guidance in this lively, fast-paced city! She also helped us book a tour to Abu Simbel at a great price and made everything so easy. I highly recommend this stay!

Melhor hostel de todo Egito e melhor experiência da minha viagem de 27 dias! Gandhi e sua família são incríveis (e honestas) pessoas, nos ajudam com tudo e compartilham momentos felizes. Peça comida nos restaurantes indicados (falafel e koshary), nade no rio Nilo durante as tardes e relaxe na área comum. Honestamente, passei mais tempo no Hostel do que na cidade e isso é uma experiência completa! Uma vez que a cidade é pequena e fácil de caminhar. Melhor escolha possível. Boa internet, quartos amplos e limpos, camas confortáveis, com ar condicionado e ventilador. Piscina e caiaque para uso dos hóspedes. Rooftop com vista incrível do Nilo. Área de por do sol. Bom café da manhã. Melhor tour para Abu Simbel!

David hostel tem um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Aswan. Apresentando serviço de quartos, este alojamento também dispõe de comodidades para churrascos. David foi um anfitrião incrível e nos ajudou em tudo o que precisávamos. O hostel não fica no centro, mas é muito fácil pegar um onibus que custa 5egp. O custo benefício vale à pena :)

Em Aswan, 23 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan, Wanees Hostel dispõe de acomodações com ar condicionado e um salão partilhado. Jimmy is such a nice and calm guy. He's gentle, helpful,smart,cool,wise, I can't stop describe how nice person he is. He knows how to taking care of guests very well. When I had troubles to making travel plan he always helped me by suggesting tour or providing transport but that was no pushing at all. So it was always comfortable to talk to him. Location is perfect, middle of a big market. I stayed 4th floor and I really loved that shower there. It's hot and water pressure is very strong, hard to find this much good shower in any place.

بيت شمس encontra-se em Aswan, a 18 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan e a 11 km de Museu Nubian. We had an amazing time staying at Chams House! My family (3 people) and I stayed for 3 nights. They greeted us with a fruit basket and lemon mint juice, which was such a thoughtful surprise! The house was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the family made us feel at home the entire time. Since we had a lot of luggage, they arranged a microbus to pick us up from the train station, which made things much easier. At first, we were a bit unsure about the location, but the family helped us plan a great program for the 3 days, taking care of every little detail. A big delicious breakfast was waiting for us every morning. We also asked for a homemade traditional dinner, and they cooked an amazing meal for us. The family was so friendly and kind—we had wonderful conversations with them, and they were some of the nicest and most humble people we met in Egypt. They even called the bus station to help us with an issue we had with our bus to Hurghada. The wifi was surprisingly great, I was able to work the whole time freely. But the highlight for us was how authentic and local the whole experience felt. It was so different from anything else we saw in Egypt, and being immersed in the Nubian culture was unforgettable. The islands were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the Nubian massage my mom, aunt, and I got in the guest house was amazing! They even let us check out late, since our next bus was untill 3pm. We absolutely loved our time at Chams House and would recommend it to everyone. Don’t think twice— I'm sure you’ll love it as much as we did! Thank you to Mr Chams, Mrs Bertuda, Khetamy and the cutest little Anas, you all made us feel at home.
