O had a very pleasant stay for a night and even if it was my first staying in a hostel and it was a mixed dormitory, I felt very safe and slept comfortable. Couldn't fit my carry-on luggage in the deposit but it was fine i had a lock

Just 50 metres from Edinburgh’s bustling Princes Street, Haystack Hostel is set in a renovated 18th-century Georgian building. It offers (not 24h reception) with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. Super friendly staff and fellow travellers. Felt really comfortable, like a second home. Nice touch to have a reading, chatting area and kitchen outside of the rooms.
