The rooftop terrace with pool table and small pool are so nice to unwind and meet fellow travelers.

Room is simple, bu It has all you need, bed is comfy, you can get free coffee/tea all day. I only stayed a night, but I wish to have stayed longer. You can see Telescopes breaking from far(but in front of the accommodation), to reach it is a short boat ride away. Had probably the best surf session of my life there :) Thanks and see you next time!

Arif is the most genuine and helpful person we have met in Indonesia, and he's surely the coolest guy on Nias! He helped us out on many occasions and always offered genuine advice and willingness to share the Nias culture. Thanks for the great time and see you again!

I had a great experience staying here. The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

You are greated by Hadra at the Padang airport. He helps you handle all the logistics like purchasing ferry tickets, finding medicines and food supplies. He drops you off at the ferry and then Teddy picks you up in Siberut. Teddy and his staff are wonderful. They highly prioritize you above everything else. They are very attentive to your requests and help accommodate whatever they can within their means. The food is outstanding. I ate delicious for a week. The vibe is very friendly. You are always greated with a good morning by everyone. There is absolutely no question that I will stay here again when I return to Mentawai. Masura Bagata Teddy, Ferdy, Renaldi, Harda and the cook. I hope to see you again next year.

RedDoorz Hostel @er staðsett í innan við 1,8 km fjarlægð frá Medan-lestarstöðinni og 4 km frá Maimun-höllinni. Located in Little India. Many eateries and bakeries nearby. Mini-marts and two shopping malls a few minutes away. Staff friendly and efficient. Check in and out was a breeze. Thin blanket, towels and drinking water were given upon checking in. Instructions were clearly given. There is a separate locker for shoes located outside the capsule room and a bigger locker for luggages in the capsule room. Anyone with huge backpack or luggage will really have difficulty fitting into the luggage locker. There is no elevator and female room is on the second level and male is on the third. Capsule is of decent size and comfortable. There is a key card to access the pod and also to turn on the lights just like a hotel room. Adequate lightings in the pod and comes with 2 USB slow charging port. No power point in the pod. Power point is located in the common area. Air con is strong. No complains regarding wifi connection. There is even a TV if ever it is working. Overall, very quiet and peaceful. Shared bathroom has 2 shower stalls and 2 toilets. Probable will be insufficient should the property be full house.

My Studio Hotels Kualanamu Airport Medan er staðsett í Medan, 22 km frá Medan-lestarstöðinni, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og veitingastað. We extended our stay night after night just because the family was so lovely and we really enjoyed spending time with them. The area is super quite in the jungle and we could just relax and do a bunch of day trips with rented bicycles, scooter and bus. It is a great place as a base to explore the area.
