It looks like recently refurbished. * The staff (receptionists as well as the breakfast employee lady) have been very attentive, helpful and kind at any time. * Fantastic and spacious room, exactly as described on the ad. We also stand out the good mattresses, the silence and the cleanliness. We had a profound sleep. * The shared kitchen is a 5-star plus, it is well equipped (microwave, fridge, stove, basic cutlery...) and very convenient if you want to prepare some food on your own. * The atmosphere around the place is great / on the ground floor they share the space with a restaurant that has good vibes. * Super high value for money, considering the high accommodation prices in the Como lake area / very suitable place to be based to explore the area.

Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Ostello Bello Lake Como is set in Como. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. It was super clean, the staff was the friendliest, there were free coffee and biscuits, also free pasta if you were willing to cook it. Lucia was the best!

The room was very clean and the host was very friendly 🙂, although he doesn't speak English. He was very helpful, I can only recommend this place. The location is great if you're trying to escape the city life.

SANTANGELA Hostel & Rooms er farfuglaheimili í Menaggio sem býður upp á rúmgóðan garð með fjallaútsýni. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Very friendly staff. The check-in was in Lake Como Hostel where they explained the fastest route to get up to the Peace Lodge. We got cupons for free drinks in the hostel below and I highly suggest to use them cause restaurant has very good, cheap food (pizza, pasta, burgers, tiramisu etc.) and amazing cocktails - try Baileys Martini. Also everyone who was staying seemed really friendly. The place has nice views over the lake and buildings nearby. It's also close to Menaggio center and local bus stop (take C10 to Como) and ferry. There are a lot of booklets about local hiking routes and I think you can even rent a bike there. It is very peaceful - quiet and nice to stay.
