But a very good one. Would definitely recommend staying there. The hosts are very responsive and they know the place very well.

One of the best hostels I stayed at in Sri Lanka. Lovely clean dorm, comfortable beds and the aircon is on at anytime you need - plus fans! The host is the highlight of this hostel- you feel like you’re at home with the amazing welcome you are given. She cooked us dinner each night (amazing grilled prawns!!) and provided us with cold water, fruit, tea, coffee and anything else we needed for no extra charge. She made us feel like family - we were sad to leave!! Very quiet and great location too. Highly recommend!! Good wifi and service.

Inside, the atmosphere is just perfect — warm, welcoming, and full of life without ever being too much. The presence of the aunts and children creates a homely, vibrant energy that makes you feel instantly at ease. It’s a great place to relax, whether you're solo or with friends. The guest house is dog-friendly, and their two adorable dogs add to the warm, welcoming vibe. Losan also organized several great activities for us — snorkeling, diving, sunset outings with guests from a friendly guest house, and even some lovely apéros. It really helped create a fun and social atmosphere without ever feeling forced. I had both breakfast and dinner during my stay — everything was delicious! Special mention for the spicy biryani: full of flavor and absolutely satisfying. This place strikes the perfect balance between being alive and peaceful — ideal for anyone looking to recharge without feeling isolated. 100% recommend this place!

Everything This place is a little piece of paradise. It’s very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The staff is amazing. It was so hard to leave that I even came back to spend one last weekend here at the end of my trip to Sri Lanka.
