Ideally situated in the Queen Street district of Auckland, Newton Lodge Auckland is situated less than 1 km from Aotea Square, a 12-minute walk from Auckland Art Gallery and 1.1 km from Aotea Centre. Such a comfy bed and the showers were amazing!! Great value for money. Felt so comfortable there and as it’s on the smaller side of hostels it was really social and everyone knew everyone after a short while!

I had such a great time at this hostal and would definitely stay here again. Everything is super clean, showers and bathrooms are cleaned three times a day daily! Bed was super comfy and clean too. The kitchen is quite big and there is a lot of stuff, so that it is possible to cook without any problem. The hostel also offers basic spices to cook, free coffee and tea. It is also easy to meet other travellers in the common area. The staff is super friendly and it feels such a good vibe there, that it feels like home!
