Haka House Bay of Islands is a welcoming and stylish hostel located just across from the scenic Paihia wharf, offering cosy, practical accommodations with million-dollar views of the stunning... Everything is clean, the staff is nice and the view from the common room/kitchen is simply marvellous. The Wifi worked really well and the location is brilliant, right in the middle of town looking out over the harbour area and lots of food places around. The rooms are small but manageable. I loved that I had a socket and a light next to my bed and a curtain for some private space.

Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge features a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Delightfully cozy, really clean and well maintained. Lots of thoughtful extras, great vibe, spacious and even a friendly cat. Short walk to swimming beach, helpful staff, overall great value.

Centabay is in the best location, close to everything in town. It has a comfortable, laid back atmosphere, with a spa, hammocks, and a great shady patio surrounded by plants. They even offer Kayaks for hire at a great price.
