This hostel offers free unlimited Wi-Fi, a log fire in the guest lounge and heaters in all rooms. Guests can relax in the hammock in the garden. Very nice hostel, very 'old school', with a large living room and a nice garden. The showers and toilets were super clean, the area felt safe. The hostel is 15 minutes walk from the bus terminal, 20 minutes walk from a Woolworth. They also serve chocolate pudding and ice cream in the evening which is super nice. The premises might look a bit old, but at the end of the day the place is clean, the area is safe and it's really good value for money and that it's what is important. Would recommend to friends!

Featuring a garden, a shared lounge as well as a terrace, YHA Nelson is located in the centre of Nelson, 600 metres from Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson. The staff was great. So helpful with information and resolving problems. I loved the bright primary colors of the kitchen and throughout the hostel. I had a lovely stay! Thank you Royce, Ashley, and others!

Built in 1888, The Prince Albert Backpackers & Bar is a heritage building with free Wi-Fi, an onsite bar and restaurant and a cafe on weekdays Prince Albert Backpackers is a 5-minute walk from Nelson.... The property is quite cozy, well designed. The staff has kindly helped us carry our heavy baggage upstairs.

Really cool old Victorian house, with lots of character. Staff were nice and helpful, location was convenient, everything was clean and comfortable.

Offering private and dormitory rooms with free unlimited WiFi, The Bug Backpackers is just 15 minutes’ walk from local shops and restaurants. Great hostel. We had a private room with shared bathroom and we felt almost like in a hotel. Highly recommend that place.

Downtown Backpackers & Accommodation is situated in the Nelson City Centre district of Nelson, and is less than 1 km from Trafalgar Park. The bed was very comfortable and we were warned about the noise which wasn't too bad Apart from that we totally enjoyed our stay.
