The food was great. Cleaning was great. Best place to stay if you want to do the balcony walk or the Jebel Sums summit.

I rarely give 10 points: only when the place has something special to offer that makes your stay memorable. We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. The staff was very kind and helpful. The dinners were amazing and plentiful. The guesthouse provided a 'time travel' vibe. The surroundings are also special with the date fields: a little oasis and the ancient town within walking distance. I must also mention the small coffee shop next to this guesthouse: I had my best espresso there in Oman.

The owners worked really hard to make the place picturesque, which works so well with the great views of the mountains. The apartment is comfortable and well kept, and the facilities are quite nice (common kitchen accessible 24/7 is well equipped). The breakfast was served at another place just a short walk from the apartment and was good (it was a typical Omani breakfast).

Set in Al Ḩamrāʼ, 48 km from Nizwa Fort, Muskad offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. Magical oasis in the middle of a mud village. Very well renovated and decor is of great taste. Peaceful spot with the sound of water and sourrounded by palm trees. Whole villa is private, no food offered but we dis taleaway from a restaurant nearby. The villa is even more magical at night

The South African guy was friendly and joyful. Kitchen space is big with comfortable seating. Good enough location.
