The atmosphere is great. It is very easy to connect to other guests if you want to. They organize various group activities like hikes, games, yoga and language practice sessions. Restaurants and bars are close by at walking distance. There also a few large supermarkets in the vicinity. I stayed in a private room which only has a fan, no AC, but the temperature in the valley is not super warm so the nights were still comfortable with only the fan on. Shared showers, toilets and kitchen were kept clean and well equipped.

May need to text owner you are here since gate is locked (WhatsApp +507 6200‑4371) Tip: If you arrive by bus to Rio Hato and take taxi/small bus to location, you may need to say Posada Acuarela, not Acuarela Hostel.
