I had the pleasure of staying at the Wild Monkey Hostel for 3 days, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The service is truly world-class, and the staff are some of the friendliest and most accommodating people I’ve encountered in any hostel or hotel. The rooms are spotless, super clean, and have a sleek, modern design that made my stay very comfortable. However, while the rooms are fantastic, the AC was a bit noisy, and on the 2nd and 3rd days, it started leaking water. Initially, I was considering giving the hostel 4 stars because of this issue, but the exceptional customer service completely turned my experience around. A special shoutout to the staff who went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally left my shoes at the hostel on my way to Oslob. I contacted them to explain my situation, and they kindly arranged for a driver to deliver my shoes to me the very next day—right at the whale shark spot! This act of kindness and their willingness to go out of their way to assist me was absolutely heartwarming. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The Wild Monkey Hostel deserves a 10/5 for their incredible service and the wonderful staff who made my stay unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing experience—I can’t recommend this place enough! 🙌🐒

Georgia's Neverland Hostel er staðsett á Malapascua-eyju, 500 metra frá Langub-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og veitingastað. The property is located in the North of the island - perfect if you want to be walking distance from beautiful beaches as well as to locals. It is however “far” from the town, which is not an issue because there are drivers to take you there all the time! Bungalows are cozy, the showers open air and overall the atmosphere was great, there was everything we would need! Richard the owner has a heart made of gold. The snorkeling trip organized by the hostel was fantastic too!

One of the most luxurious hostels I stayed in - definitely was not expecting this level of care and attention to detail! Everything is meticulously clean comfortable, and dorms are fully equipped with AC, large lockers, curtains, plug sockets, reading light and they even provide you with slippers! The free coffee voucher for the coffee shop next door, as well as the complimentary lemonade on arrival really made this a 5-star stay. Not to mention the discount on massages!

Home Sweetie Homestay & Bunkbeds er staðsett í Moalboal, í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá Panaginama-ströndinni og 1,1 km frá Basdiot-ströndinni. Really nice dorms for couples (or not :) with good big bed, air conditioning and nice bathroom. The owners are really nice and every Friday they have a free boodlefight (a Filipino style feast) which was amazing and sooo tasty

Susing Seaside Guesthouse er staðsett í innan við 100 metra fjarlægð frá Panaginama-ströndinni og 200 metra frá Basdiot-ströndinni en það býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi í... Quiet and great location near many restaurants and the sardine run. Remy was lovely and super helpful. I rented snorkel gear from her and she was happy to organise canyoneering for me even though I had messaged at night. The dorm was comfortable and clean and lockers are available to use.

MOMO Hostel í Moalboal býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna með garði, verönd og bar. The place is peaceful and they helped us rent a motorbike. The staff is very accommodating as well the the owner. We also found new friends from other countries. We were the only Filipinos who stayed here but we didn’t feel left out. Other guests are friendly too.

MAAYONG HOSTEL has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Moalboal. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 600 metres of Basdiot Beach. Clean, quiet, nice rooms. Outdoor shower was nice. Very helpful staff that helped with any problems

Peach Haven er staðsett í Cebu City, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Fuente Osmena Circle og í 18 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Ayala Center Cebu, en það býður upp á gistirými með sameiginlegri setustofu og... Stayed in a private room. Great aircon, fast wifi. One of the more comfortable rooms I had in the Philippines. Market close by and a good Japanese restaurant.
