The room was clean and comfortable and so was the shared bathroom. We had an amazing experience in Pontebba thanks to the wonderful hosts who gave us good recommendations and a nice chat.

I love this place!!! Such a welcoming and warm place. It felt like a home! Well, it used to her grandma's home... Definitely not a "traditional hostel". It has a small capacity ; there are a couple of dorms and a couple of (double) rooms. Katja, the owner, is very friendly and gave me great recommendations for dining and sight-seeing. It's also a pet-friendly place. A couple of nights some guestrs had their dogs and Katja left dog treats for them on the breakfast table! Such a lovely gesture! Breakfast had several options. Fresh bread every morning! Katja also makes her own yogurt, which she serves for breakfast. They provide free towels (that's extra points for a hostel) and there are even shampoos and shower gels for guests. Very clean place, too!

The hostel is in an absolutely stunning spot, and perfect for our skiing holiday! The views are out of this world! It was clean and well serviced. The food at the restaurant was good with generous portions. Overall it was excellent value for money. The best part was the friendly staff, even on days with large groups of guests they were very efficient and handled it like pros. We look forward to returning next winter!
