The location is excellent, a 3-minute walk from the beach and 2 minutes from the ferry. The facility is very clean, the staff is super helpful and welcoming and they give you the best tips for planning your day. Thanks to the activities organised by the hostel I socialised with the other guests very easily, as a solo traveller I really appreciated it. And last but not least there are many free things like earplugs, breakfast, drinks. Super recommended, I am sorry to have to leave.🫤

The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.

WANGTA Hostel se nachází v destinaci Baan Tai v regionu Koh Phangan a nabízí sdílený lounge. Pláž Haad Rin Nai Beach se nachází 300 metrů daleko a Pláž Haad Rin Nok Beach 400 metrů. I stayed here for the full moon party and the location is great. It was only a five minute walk to the beach and a few minute walk from the harbour. The hostel was clean and the staff is friendly. The beds were super comfortable. Got a good night sleep here. Even the place was close to the party site, it was quiet. Highly recommended!

Hostel is located right on the beach, perfect location. It was immaculately clean, inside and out. Comfortable beds, great shower, they even made my bed up! Couldn’t fault 😃
