The hostel is perfect for someone who does not drive a scooter and does not have an issue with walking to see the beaches around. I love that there ar eonly 4 curtained beds in the room and the place smells ok and clean. Plus a breakfast! Staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve tried the other popular hostel close to it it but I prefer this place as a middle-aged woman and I do not really need a pool.

Super friendly and kind staff, perfect location, very clean!!!! Nice breakfast too. I would 100% recommend this place even though I am quite critical and usually do not stay in dorms.

It was my birthday and the team of the hostel surprised me with a birthday cake! But everything was perfect, clean, quitte dorms, and good lockers to secure your stuff. A social hostel if you want to, and perfect located! I’ll recommend it to all my friends viaiting Koh Tao.

The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel is located in Ko Tao, 1.9 km from Mae Haad Pier with a 5-Star PADI Dive Center on-site. Guests can enjoy the on-site food and drink service. After traveling for 7 months and sleeping in more than 50 hostels, I can honestly say this is one of the best hostels in the world. This hostel has the social backpacker vibe that I love and I instantly made friends here. The property and design are gorgeous, functional and modern. The location is perfect since it's away from ugly touristic part of town and there are free shuttles every day from the hostels to beaches and attractions (shuttles to/from the Peir are 100 baht). You can do without a scooter if you really don't want it. I was in the 6 bed mixed dorm and it felt luxurious. A/C was central and even throughout the room. Super clean - they even change the sheets every couple of days and you can always get a fresh bath towel. I only stayed 10 days and would easily stay for another month if I could
