I highly recommend to stay here!! The first thing I noticed about this hostel was that the owner makes everything clean and organized. In the kitchen, there are basic utensils, electronic pot, microwave, drinking water and fridge. The bed in dorm room is fairly big for one person and comfortable. There are a power socket, personal light for each bed and you can use a locker too. The location was great. 10 minutes walking to the beach, 3 minutes walking to 7-11, a lot of local restaurants, a local market, beverage shops and fruits shops. 10 minutes to massage shop by foot. I could go to the main pub area in 20 minutes by foot as well. But the best thing is that even it is close to all things I need, the hostel area is not noisy. I only can hear the noise from the cars or scooters at night even I used the bed just right in front of the balcony door. As a female solo traveler, I feel it is a quite safe area to walk around at night. People mingle in the living room at night. We talked about our travel stories and shared the recommendations. I have met good travel buddies and we went to the bars a few times. I have to mention the owner of this hostel, Tharita. She is a local and takes care of the guests so well. We shared our personal stories, cooked together and she showed me around the area, recommended the spots and helped me to organize to go to the pier/tour. She is a very nice, lovely and funny lady. She speaks very good English and she is more than happy to let you know what is a real Thai experience. All guests like her and she also likes the influence from other cultures and wants to learn from them. She made my day many times. I'd like to come back this hostel to see her and talk more about our stories. I will miss DK1. P.S: don't be skeptical about the rating. 9.6 out of 10 is real. If you stay at DK1, you will know why this hostel marks so high score. Tharita works really hard to make this hostel nice and feel like home.

Was absolutely incredible Stayed as a solo traveller who has stayed at a LOT of hostels and this by far was one of the nicest ones. Very laid back vibe and all the staff were so lovely. It's a mixed use hotel with small rooms, the dorm rooms and villas so you will see a variety of guests from young families and young travellers. The outdoor spaces such as the terrace, pool and beachside area are fantastic. The area is really nice, on the edge of Lamai beach its a very easy walk or scooter into the main areas of Lamai beach and a 20 minute scooter to Chaweng or fisherman's village

The property is beautiful and situated near a waterfall and a temple, where you can enjoy the soothing sounds of nature. The street is long and lined with lush greenery, and there are bikes available for rent, so you won’t have to walk far. Plus, there’s a restaurant and a fantastic coffee shop right next door. The hostel features four private rooms with bunk beds and fans. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, making it perfect for those who want to escape the crowds. There’s also a laundry machine available for use at a cost of 40 Baht, but you’ll need 10 Baht coins to operate it. Anjar is incredibly friendly and helpful, and he even drove us to Nathon Pier. I highly recommend staying here—it's definitely one of my favorite accommodations!

Jen 800 metrů odtud se nachází Pláž Chaweng Beach a Rybářská vesnice Bophut je 5,3 km daleko.... Best hostel I’ve stayed at, the owner and staff are amazing. The beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in for a while and there’s a big common area that has beanbags, TVs with PlayStation 5s and plenty of fans to keep you cool. The hostel is also very close to everything you need, there’s a night market and 7/11 a 1 minute walk away.

Samui Backpacker Hotel se nachází v Bangraku, 1 minutu chůze od mola, odkud se dostanete na ostrov Ko Phangan a ke slavným večírkům při úplňku. Nabízí společné i soukromé pokoje s bezplatným Wi-Fi. I liked everything here! Especially the staff they are very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for over 2 weeks, and then came back for one more week. I had such a nice time hanging out by the pool, I plan to come back next time I visit Koh Samui.

BBVC Hostel CollegeStay se nachází v destinaci Ban Thurian a poskytuje zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování, bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a sdílený lounge. the whole thing is just amazing, you participate in a local social project for young kids and they’re all so kind!! the location itself is so peaceful, the breakfast is reaaally good and the rooms are really cozy. must stay!!

Pláž Maenam Beach je 1,2 km daleko. it was an amazing hostel, the owner is so nice! She helped me when I couldn't find a taxi at 7 in the morning, otherwise, I would miss my flight. The hostel is very comfortable and I was feeling at home even tho I was the only one in the room. There is a good wifi connection and I could work remotely from the restaurant downstairs that belongs to the hostel :)
