from award winning Austrian architect one building with 3 parts nested into each other the splitlevel design has up to 155 square meters living area on 4 levels open space kitchen with everything you need, dining area with 7m high ceiling, big living room with automated digital fire place, with two sofas, comfy chairs, and video beamer, on the other side a room niche to read a book. on the upper floor a TV-loung area, with a nice garden and terrace with bbq, sun loungers and direct view to lake achensee and the sourrounding mountains. short walk to Achensee with nice beaches, and to Atoll with all-year heated panorama-pool and playground.
Oliver lives with his family in the same house in apartment nr 2 and looks forward to welcome you and address any questions you may have. This unique house was built from 2020 to 2021 together with brother Markus as a home and shelter, and also to create a retreat place to rest and restore body, soul and sprit. We put a focus not only on timeless modern design and quality, but also on modern minimalistic and comfortable interior with a very well equipped kitchen, fine bby, everything you need, and great views. We love the short walk to the lake, and to the shops in our village… In summer we like to explore the nature by bike and foot, take the lovey family hike to Dalfazer waterfall, hiking Karwendel and Rofan mountains and visit one of the nice catered Almen, the big variety of bike tracks, as well as the sailing and windsurf/wingfoil/kite opportunities. In Winter we enjoy the cross-country skiing course passing in front of our house, skiing Christlum ski resorts (<15min by car), Rofan Bergbahn (cable care directly in our village), go for a skitour around the lake, or take a short drive (Alpbach, Zillertal,…) to visit large ski resorts in the area. We dont allow any parties, and have a db noise measuring system installed. Thank you for your consideration and understanding. When you come to our house, be it for a holiday or a business trip, we want you to have a great rest and wonderful time, same as for our guests in the other apartment, as well as for our neighbours. So please keep this in mind. We register all guests at the local tourism office. Upon completion of the guest form you get the benefits of the Achensee card. During your holiday feel free to contact us for any questions you may have. Achensee and Karwendel/Rofan mountains are a wonderful region 950m above sealevel in the middle of the Alps, perfect for enjoying nature, super clean water and pure air, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, ski around the several resorts close by, or any other summer and winter sports. HIKING IDEAS | Start your walk right there, explore the Dalfazer and Buchauer Waterfall, take the cable car up Rofan mountain for some great hikes and enjoy the view and food on the mountain, or start your tour a 5 minutes car right away in Pertisau into the Karwendel valleys to one of the less steap catered “Almen” such as Feilalm, Gern Alm, Falzthurn, or Gramai. WATER SPORTS | Rent a pedal boat, windsurf at the Bootsverleih Buchau, go sailing, try a kite surf course, or use for free our SUP-boards. FOR RAINY DAYS | The newly built Atoll Achensee offers a beautiful large outdoor panorama swimming pool and Spa. Or enjoy the comfort in our homes. And ask us for the best restaurants. FOR THE KIDS | The kids will love the large playground at Atoll, close by walking distance. During summer months, Achensee Tourism offers a nice program. Horse riding is available close by within Maurach. SKI & WINTER | Take the gondola in our village up ROFAN Seilbahn and start your hike or ski on 1850 meters, there are several ski lifts, courses, and ski tours. There are two more insider ski resorts at Achensee: KARWENDELBERGBAHN in PERTISAU is only 5 minutes by car, with a nice panorama view onto the lake and great for kids and families, and lots of cross country skiing and good restaurants. A 10 minutes drive is CHRISTLUM in ACHENKIRCH with 10km ski tracks, more red and also black tracks, and a nice sledging tour. A 1/2 h drive is famous “Ski Juwel ALPACHTAL”, and the large ski resort "Hochzillertal/Hochfügen” in ZILLERTAL. A 10 minutes walk from our home is ATOLL with an ice skating park. The area offers so much and worth a visit throughout the year!
