Why not charter Kootenay Wild to take you out fishing for Gerrard Rainbow Trout on Kootenay Lake in their 30 ft. Bayliner cabin cruiser for a full day , or book a half day tour of the west Arm or on the main lake itself . Welcome to Richard and Pat Rowland home and Kootenay Wild's guest suites . Richard and Pat raised their family in Calgary Alberta . After retirement they travelled the world extensively and eventually landed in the West Kootenay's to enjoy their favourite activities and passion for the outdoors .
The Rowland are looking forward to hosting travellers from North America and abroad , and helping them to enjoy the beauty of this region . If you are travelling as a larger group , we have three different suites to accommodate you .
